More weekend fun....

For Memorial Day, we headed to the Burgh to visit with my family. It is our last trip home for awhile, until after baby at least. AHH!! We went to the pool, which Ella LOVED! She can stand in the big pool - when did my baby get so big??!!!! I call her my water baby, because she loves being in the pool, bath, etc. She spends about an hour in the bath tub every night (if you let her), just playing and swimming around. I have to get her in swim lessons for the summer. It was really good to see everyone and spend an extra day. This weekend we went to a carnival on Friday. Ella rode her first amusement park ride. She wasn't so sure of it at first, but ended up having a blast and riding everything that she could. Then Saturday, our good friends, Josh and Maggie got married. It couldn't have been a more perfect evening and everything was beautiful!!! They had their reception at Keeneland and got to run around on the track. It was so cute! Rob and I had a great time. This is me at 35 weeks!!! Five more weeks to go! We are getting ready. Here are a few Ella-isms this week:
1. Me: "Ella, do you want a hashbrown?" (from McDonald's drive thru)
Ella: "No mommy, I want a whole brown."
2. Ella: (at my ob appt. on Friday) "Mommy, is sissy in your belly?"
Me: "Yes"
Ella: "Is she in your arm?"
Me: "No"
Ella: "Is she in your leg?"
Me: "No"
Ella: "Is she in your face?"
Me: "No, just my belly."
Ella: "Why?" (The why questions have begun about everything!)
Me: "Because that''s how God made us"
Ella: "Why?"
- This went round and round for about 5 minutes. Hilarious! It is so funny how her mind is trying to figure this all out.
Above: This is how we found Ella tonight when she was "supposed" to be in bed. She obviously got out of her bed, went into the nursery, crawled up in the rocker and fell asleep. She's a mess!!! :)
