Sayre Scoop: Vacation

We just got back from a week in Florida! Ella and Avery flew for the first time and both did great! We stayed at my aunt and uncle's condo in Cocoa, Florida. We went to the beach - Ella built sand castles, rode on a boogie board and swam, swam, swam. Avery pretty much just ate the sand, but seemed to like the water too. We also spent some time at my aunt and uncle's pool - Ella was a little fish and swam about 5 hours a day!! She is doing great, and is about to take off swimming by herself. She loved having playmates everyday too. My Aunt Mary and Uncle Dennis drove down for two days from Palm Coast - it was so good to see them!!! I don't know who laughed harder - Ella, Aunt Mary or Aunt Karen. She still talks about her "crazy aunts". :) We braved the heat and went to Disney's Magic Kingdom for a day. It was SO hot and crowded, but we got to do everything that we wanted to do, and had a great time doing it. Ella said her favorite ride was Dumbo, and that she did NOT like Goofy's roller coaster. She got to get her picture taken with Mary Poppins and Burt and tells me at least 5 times a day that Mary Poppins told her "Spit Spot". We are back and trying to get back to real life. It was such a good week though - warning - LOTS of pictures!

Out at dinner at Grillz - on the water. They had the BEST scallops I have ever had. We sat outside and listened to the band - Ella and Rob even danced one song :)
