The Circus is in Town!

The circus was in town this weekend, so Ella, Avery and I headed downtown on Friday to see the elephants at the park. They walked the elephants down Main Street and then fed them all kinds of fruit, lettuce and bread. It was kind of crazy seeing them eat so much, so quickly! They gave them watermelons and the elephants would step on them to break them apart, so that they could eat them. It was pretty crazy! Ella and Avery loved it! We grabbed some lunch and then walked around downtown for awhile. The weather was beautiful and they are renovating a lot of downtown for the World Equestrian Games that will be held in a month. There are painted horses all over the place downtown. They are beautiful - truly works of art. Here are some pictures of a few of my favorites. It was a great day!
